Do you offer any archiving, backup, and recovery options for email data?
While we do implement our own backup procedures for shared hosting to safeguard customer data against potential issues like server breaches, hacks, hardware failures, or unforeseen circumstances, we cannot guarantee the content, availability, or reliability of these backups.
To prioritise data security, we strongly recommend that our shared hosting customers utilise the Cpanel backup feature to create their own independent backups. This proactive approach will ensure data protection and serve as a reliable recovery solution, particularly in critical situations like investigations or legal proceedings.
VPS Hosting:
- Managed VPS: We provide backup services for managed VPS plans as an optional extra service.
- Unmanaged VPS: We provide backup services for unmanaged VPS plans as an optional extra service. If the option is not chosen, customers are solely responsible for implementing their own backup strategies, similar to managing other aspects of their unmanaged VPS server.
Google Workspace:
Yes, Google Workspace offers robust built-in backup and recovery features for email data. Deleted data is retained in the Trash for 30 days, allowing for easy restoration. Additionally, Google Vault and Go.
